Course content

Using the Agile On Time method, you will learn how to quickly create value for customers while ensuring a high level of well-being within your team. The method is designed for projects of all sizes and works for both geographically dispersed and co-located teams.

The course focuses on how to facilitate and execute agile projects from start to finish, as well as how to adapt the method to different projects. You will receive a wide range of practical and tested tools that have been refined through real-world application. Each tool contributes in its own way to ensuring successful project delivery. The method is based on Agile PM™, the globally leading approach to agile project management, developed by the Agile Business Consortium.

What else do you need to know about the course content?

This course is designed for project managers, team leaders, Scrum Masters, project participants, and anyone involved in project planning and development.

The training is practical and designed to follow the natural flow of a project. During the course, we will work with:

  • Agile fundamentals and their applications
  • Which agile frameworks are designed for which purposes, and how they can coexist
  • Structuring, framing, and organizing the project
  • Gathering user needs
  • Facilitating specification workshops
  • Facilitating two-level planning – for the entire development process and the upcoming sprint/iteration
  • Facilitating the development process through sprints/iterations and linking models and theory to your own practice

 

Teaching Approach
The course follows a blended learning approach. Before the course starts, you will be asked to watch approximately three hours of instructional videos, which guide you through the entire project lifecycle. This video-based preparation allows the course time to focus on hands-on exercises, case work, and relating concepts to participants' daily work and reflections.

All training is designed to be conducted online, offering two key advantages:

  1. You will learn how to execute projects online throughout the course.
  2. You can choose to attend either in person or online. We use high-end conference equipment to ensure an excellent experience for online participants.

Before the course, all participants receive free access to six to seven hours of instructional videos with exercises. After the course, you will retain free

 

Course Language
The course materials, the certification and the training are all in English. You can choose from an English version and a Danish version of the videos.

 

What certification does the course prepare you for, and how is it taken?

The course prepares you for the Agile Practices – Team Leader Focus certification from the Agile Business Consortium, the world leader in agile project management.

This certification is included in the course price and can be taken online at your convenience. We prepare for the certification by reviewing a practice exam at the end of the course.

What does the course include, and how much preparation is required before and during it?

The course is held in collaboration with Plan A ApS, which has developed the Agile On Time model - an operational version of the theory and project model created by the Agile Business Consortium.

Course price includes

  • Access to video materials and accompanying exercises before the course and for 30 days after course completion.
  • Three days of training, with the option to attend in person and/or online.
  • Carefully selected IT platforms and key documents that enable you to successfully execute projects online or with your team starting the very next day.
  • Presentation materials, exercises, and more.
  • Agile Practices – Team Leader Focus (Foundation Level) certification, including preparation materials


Preparation and Study Time

Before the course

  • 1-2 hours of preparation
  • 1 hour of reading
  • Video preparation: Approx. 3.5 hours of instructional videos


During the course

  • Evening study after Day 1: 30 minutes to 1 hour of reading
  • Evening study after Day 2: 1-hour practice certification test
